Virtual PC's and imaging

By jonathon.johnson ·
Is it possible to setup a virtual PC, configure it how you want, image it with Ghost or whatnot, and then put the image on another workstation as the OS? Would really help me with images that I have to change from time to time instead of having a dedicated PC for images and such.

I know of creating a Virtual PC image and installing that on an PC that has XP running as the base O/S. Then with some scripting work, you can have the virtual PC load at bootup as the user environment rather than the base O/S. It's a cost effective method to change users to a new system, such as during buyouts, takeovers, etc.
