I have a Vista machine that is openning programs, and displaying a button in the taskbar, but not displaying the program. The program, whichever one it may be, is always running in task manager. The taskbar auto-preview is a blank box. Restarting the computer or going into taskmanager and stopping it sometimes works. Has this happened to anyone else? It’s as if the programs aren’t opening completely, or does it have something to do with the explorer and taskbar errors I’ve been reading about? I would rather not have to re-install the operating system, as that has been recently. The machine was working perfectly until about a week ago. Could it be caused by an update?
