Vista Keyboard Bug

by jhawkins . Updated 18 years, 6 months ago

In Vista occasionally the right hand side punctuation keys and the Right CTRL and ALT change their mapping for no reason without warning.

For Example…the ‘ key will give me an e with an accent over it and the Right CTRL and ALT don’t work at all…the other punctuation keys also give me funky characters.

Yesterday as I was trying to post this…It was doing it in windows mail, but not in this windows(IE7).

I have had this problem on 2 Dell factory installed Vista Ultimate machines and 1 upgraded (recently downgraded) Alienware laptop. All have different keyboards

It will switch back without notice as well…
