Vista Network Problem —> Cannot open XP Shared Folders

Okay,

So, first, I am working on the Vista, which has the following problem: I am connected to my Network, with my own IP Adress, amd I am able to connect to the internet thru my hub and modem, as well as see my XP computer’s shared folder in the Network folder. My problem is that when I click my XP computer’s shared folder, titled OFFICE 9for the computer in the office) i cannot acess it, and just get a message saying “Windows cannot acess \\OFFICE check the spelling of the name (which by the way i can’t rename, even if it was wrong)” The diagnose key does nothing.

when I look from my XP to the VISTA shared folder, I cannot acess that either, with a message saying “Path is wrong….blah blah ans so on.”

I treid pinging the XP and that sent back 2 out of 4 packages. i also installed the LLTD responder thingy on the XP, with no effect.

Please help, I need to share files: my music collection, and my printed, which is downstairs.

P.S. By the way, everything waso kay, untill my old router died, and now, with the new one, i have struggled and configured the network and internet, but can’t seem to get file sharing between the Vista and Xp going.

Thank You very Much!!!!!
