    Vista updates in my hard disk

    Hi, I want just to know where the files downloaded from microsoft are stored in my disk, just to reuse them if I have to reinstall Vista !!! THNKS

      Microsoft generally stores the updates in temporary folders that are deleted after the update is installed.

      2 thoughts as far as future update installation.

      1, many updates are replaced with newer versions over time, so you won’t ever need to install ALL of the updates that have been installed.

      2, update roll-ups and service packs greatly reduce the number of individual updates you need to download.
