Visual c++/ visual basic 6.0

I've just loaded both utilities but feel overwhelmed at processes involved. (I'm just starting out) r there any "easy" or "quick" pointers any 1 can give me. I have followed the ist lessons to the letter but with limited sucess.

I recommend that you sign up for the C and Visual Basic e-mails at Tech Republic's sister site

If nothing else, the e-mails and articles will provide you with code examples, and lists of other web sites with information.

Visual C++ and VB are both object oriented languages, therefore it is important that you understand that concept first. Purchase C++ How to Program by Deitel & Deitel. It is a very comprehensive guide to programming.

In addition to this it is important that you practice on a regular basis.
