my friend rang me the other day to say that his computer wasn’t working, i went to have a look and the problem is thet when it loads windows, just after the start menu comes up, a blue screen error comes up with a VMM error. The problem is i dont know exactly what happened to cause the problem. i was working blind and so tried to get in to safe mode, the same thing happens. windows doesn’t even give me time to get to MSCONFIG to do a selective boot. the computer freezes after the error. i have tried re-installing Win ME but that hangs after you click on the last finish button before it re-installes. Does anyone have a solution!!
