A little background: We are currently using Callegra for our voicemail software. It is installed on an old Gateway machine that is running Novell. It has started locking up every nite. Usually it says it is using 25%, but will jump to 100% and lock up, and we have to reboot it. The disk space is down to 89megs.
The question: We have to do something, and are wondering if we should
1) Upgrade / Replace the system….but the guy who installed this system is no longer doing this. Thiscompany has field installers, so there really isn’t fantastic support, if we can find someone in our area to do the changeover. (Plus we had to do a Y2K fix that cost $$, so we are reluctant to put even more $$ into this same system).
2) Switch toother voicemail software (with a new system).
Can anyone give any suggestions on a voicemail system/software that is sound, dependable, and has great backup support?
