I need some insight into the best approach to set up a VPN solution for one of my customers. They currently use a RedHat Linux box to run GShield as their firewall. The are also running their production Website and Mail server on it also.
They have a Windows 2000 Domain and network behind it. Remote Windows Clients need VPN Access to the domain.
The two options that I see are:
1. Configure VPN on the current Firewall/HTTP/Mail box either to work with GShield or replace it.
2. Setup a separate server to handle only the PPTP VPN to the internal network\domain.
I appeciate any insight form those more experienced than myself.
Thanks,
Chris
