W2000 not seeing SCSI CD-ROM

By msnodgrass ·
I'm having a problem with a Win2000 (SP2) machine not seeing a SCSI CD-ROM in Windows Explorer, but the Device Manager does see that it's there and working properly. Termination is set, the SCSI ID is correct, the drive is fine, SCSI utility sees it.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

1. Try to scan your scsi-devices via the scsi-bios.

If that doesn't work:

2. Uninstall your scsi-adapter - boot your system - shot down - re-install the scsi-adapter - boot your system
