w2k terminal services and normal.dot

We have a w2k server with terminal services and citrix xp loaded. Everything is working fine except for Word 2000 randomly losing it’s normal.dot template in random profiles. We have created a custom normal.dot that contains special macros and is randomly replaced with the default normal template. It may have something to do with rebooting because it doesn’t seem to happen in the middle of the day with multiple logon/logoffs in between. Any ideas how to stop this from happening? I don’t want to create a script that copies the template into the profile.
