Want infoformation about Messenger Plus

By ssna ·
A friend of mine downloaded something called MSN Messanger Plus, and at the same time something called 'mysearchnow' was installed. Since this page always overlaid whatever startpage that was choosen, it wasn't desired.

After going thru some sites that had some suggestions how to remove it, like Ad-aware, Spybot, etc, it still occured.

Question #1: Anyone heard of a Microsoft product or plugin called Messanger Plus? I've searched the Microsoft KB to some extent, no success.

Question #2: Any suggestions how to remove 'mysearchnow' in addition to running Ad-aware and Spybot?
