    want to buy a laptop of lenevo

    Hey,
    I’m the employ of………. and I want to buy a new laptop for my work so can anyone suggest me that which version will be the for coding and had a long-lasting battery.

      What is your budget? What are your specific needs and requirements? Do you have any laptop models in mind yet?

      Why the long-lasting battery? Most employees work on a place with electricity to connect the power adapter to. Moreover, with the usual Windows settings the laptop is faster and has a brighter screen when connected to power, so there is a good reason to use that whenever possible.

        And what does your IT department say?
        After all, since you are an employee, I assume it will be a company laptop, not a private one, and they will have to pay for it and support it.

      Never used one always a desktop because $ for D the Desktop is more powerful, better graphics and cheaper not to mention generally a bigger better screen so you do not end up blind constantly working with a OH&S unapproved screen that sends you blind or a keyboard that causes RSI.

      Sounds to me that you want a NB for something else and if you are just punching code any NB is the wrong tool for the job. The only time I ever used a NB for coding was at clients offices where I took notes of jobs that they wanted doing and then did the real work on a Desktop that was a high end workstation. The NB I used was fine for 5 minutes work but any more it sent you cross-eyed, with a massive headache and generally speaking feeling sick.

      I have a T450 and a T480. I bought the T480 refurbished from Lenovo for around $700 USD (FHD, 8GB RAM, 256 GB NVMe) and I maxed out the RAM separately. The experience with both laptops is very similar, but I do much prefer the USB-C charging, for I can use it with other devices. I also run a portable external monitor (ThinkVision M14) with it.

      The only reason I bought the T480 was because I misplaced the T450 for several months. Even though I prefer the T480, and would hate to lose it, the T450 is a perfectly fine replacement. I just worry the supply of used T480’s will diminish because it is so popular.
