Are you sure there’s no water in the port? If not then I would try maybe a different charger or simply wait.

I’ve had this issue before, and when I took it to the place that I got the phone they told me to place the phone in a warm location and let it run for a while. The issue was because the humidity cause liquid to build up and give me the warning.

Put it in rice or just wait and let it dry out. This used to happen to me all the time and it always takes longer than you think.

Put the phone in rice just to play it safe and let it dry overnight. Phone could just be in a warm environment all day like your pocket and it might just be overheating as well so keep it in a room temperature room for a while.

Keep in mind that high humidity could be the issue, it may not be actual water accumulated in the phone.

If water has entered your charging port, immediately power off your device to prevent short circuits. Dry the port carefully with a soft cloth or compressed air. Leave it to dry completely for several hours, preferably overnight. Avoid using the port until you’re sure it’s fully dry.

Instead of sticking it in rice, try using silica gel packets and have it stay there overnight.

Clean the charging port with a soft brush or compressed air. If the alert persists, restart your phone or try a different cable. If nothing works, Apple Support might be needed!
