WaveLAN PCMCIA not working

Does anyone know how to make a WaveLAN PCMCIA 802.11 card work in my Win2K PC?
I installed the latest Orinoco Client Manager, which works OK with my newer Orinoco Gold card but when trying to use my older WaveLAN card it tells me that cannot find the driver.
It looks like the older card needs to have its firmware upgraded, but Proxim doesn’t seem to want to support this product anymore.
