Web Links

By BorgInva ·
I use Microsof Frontpage to create my web pages (personal site using MS IIS v5.1 on XP SP2). The document that contains the frames is main.html and is the default in IIS. I use the frame feature so every page uses the same frame of links on the left. The My problem is that the web address on the top of the page is always the main web link. For example, When I click the link for pictures you would think the address becomes but it does not. The address stays the same no matter what page I go to. However, if I type in, it gives me the correct page but without the left side frame of links.
What can I do to make it that for all my pages when I give people a direct link to a certain page, it will still have the frames?

a frameset page always shows the
not the sub file or directory of a specific frame.

don't type in the
in the links, make sure they have target="main"
then when the link is opened it oewn in the main frame.

I am sorry but I do not understand. Can you explain to me how I make it that I give people the address and it takes them to that page WITH the left side links?
I do not understand where target="main" goes.
