I have a Win2K Web/FTP server, I’m using ADSL to connect to the internet, I have two domain names registered and the registrar is hosting my DNS.
When someone connects to my web/FTP server using the same ISP that I use they can connect fine, theycan view my Web site and connect to my FTP site with no problems.
When trying to connect to my server using any other ISP there is no connection, I get “can’t find this site” or “server is not responding”.
I’ve tried to ping my server using one of these ISP’s and get no reply.
I’ve set the IP and domain restrictions setting to “by defaul all computers will be granted access.
I’m using a Cisco 675 router, and have tried connecting with or without a firewall running on the server. My IP address is dynamic but changes only about once a year. My A records are configured correctly. I might add that the registrar hosting my DNS is not my ISP.
Anyone have any ideas how I can resolve this problem?
Thanks
Chris
