Web.WhatsApp.com cannot be reached

When I accessed earlier today on my PC Web.WhatsApp.com which links WhatsApp on the smartphone to PC, a message popped up, saying “The site cannot be reached.”

When I ran Windows Network Diagnostics, I received the diagnostics, saying “Your DNS Server might be unavailable.” I highly doubt that that is my problem. All other websites are working fine.

I wonder whether the problem is lying with Web.WhatsApp.com.

I just attempted to go to the Whatsapp site and got the same error. It isn’t your computer, they must be having an issue with their internet site. No idea what the issue is or when it might be resolved.

After doing a little research on Google, I found this: https://downdetector.com/status/whatsapp/
According to the report, the issue started around 11:30 am EST. Give it more time for resolution. Looks like Facebook may be having the same issue.

About 15 minutes ago, I was able to log in to my Facebook account, albeit very slow to respond.

The entire network was down.
