Have been trying to help a friend figure out why his webcam will not display on a flash site. He’s running on linux ubuntu 8.04 alpha 6 (but had the same prob with 7.10) with the latest Flash Player installed (using Firefox to view).
Had heard that there were 32bit/64bit issues viewing YouTube videos without the (Flash 9) nspluginwrapper, but he can’t get it to view on any browser.
The site picks up the cam, just not the image.
It’s way over my head, any suggestions very much appreciated.
