My webcam (HP Pavilion dv6000 lap top) works well for about 10 minutes or so, then it will all of the sudden stop and then I get an error messgae that says the webcam is not connected. The ONLY way I can get it to work is if I reboot. I can not seem to find any info on the situation on the web or any help. Does anyone know how to fis this?

No not really but if you are using the Web Cam

I imagine that the HDD is filling up or at least the area set aside for the Web Cam to save Images to on the HDD. Typically Web Cams produce something like 10 Meg per minute or more so if this space is filled up the Web Cam will stop working.

You need to go into the Setup of the Web Cams Software here and change the default settings to something else that allows you to continue working.

If that isn't the issue post back whit the exact failure and the software being used when this happens as well as the OS in use.
