Western Digital Elements – Driver Problem

Hi, I just bought WD Elements 1tb and wanted to install it on my computer and it failed.
My computer doesn’t see the new hardware. I always get this message “An error occured during the installation of the device. The system cannot find the file specified”
I use Windows 2000
Please help me
