what are the essentials of wireframing and what tools can help?

what importance do wireframing have in a mobile app? how can I achieve the best wireframing for my app? should I leave this completely on the app development company or look into it myself? plus, what tools can be helpful in app’s wireframing?

I would say you must do your research in this regard. after all, the app is yours and you are the one who is going to benefit from it. so yeah, its a must. there are several tools like Wireframe.cc, invision, Uxpin and others that can help in wireframing.

Apps don’t have wireframes. It’s just a development tool: a sketch of the user interface to be made.

You can ask the development company to make such a sketch for you to comment on. Or you can make one yourself with pen and paper as a proposal for them to implement. Or you can ask them what tool to use on your PC or table to make a proposal, so they can easily refine it and have you give the final OK after some iterations.

The essentials are dead. I stopped using wireframes over a decade ago.
