With more people storing personal files, photos, financial information, and work documents on their computers, I’m wondering what security measures are actually essential for a typical home Windows PC.
Is antivirus/Windows Security enough for most users, or should people also focus on things like encrypted backups, password managers, two-factor authentication, secure WiFi, and ransomware protection?
I’d be interested to hear what security practices you consider essential for protecting a personal computer without making the setup unnecessarily complicated.
