    What are the must-have features of an ecommerce website’s design?

    A user-friendly menu;
    Advanced search function and filtering;
    Call-to-action buttons;
    Popups;
    Product catalog;
    Product page.

      What I miss (as software functions):
      – a shopping cart
      – possibility to pay
      – a page to enter your name and address
      – accounts for the regular customers
      – a contact address for complaints and warranty
      – an easy to find return option

      Nice:
      – chat option to ask questions

      And why popup’s? Those disturb the normal processing, so drive the user away.
