What do you think about this

I have a monitor that I have connected to 3 different desktop computers and it has worked intermittently on all 3 at best. I have tried changing video cards and drivers but it makes no difference. However, when I connect this same monitor to my laptop it works everytime. Any idea what is going on here? I am really frustrated with this and ready to throw the monitor out the window
