I picked up a VGA cable so that I could watch movies from my laptop to TV. I completed this by plugging cord in to VGA slot in rear of TV and then in to computer. Everything worked great! After movie was complete, I unplugged the VGA cable from TV then Laptop, or vice versa..can’t remember.
A message popped up on TV screen saying that “VGA cable unlugged, TV will power down” I didn’t think anything of it, but when I attempted to turn the TV on, nothing happened. There is a red light that always shows at the bottom of the TV that lets you know it has power and it is on, but nothing happens when you hit the power button on the TV or remote. What happened?
