I’ve used McAfee in the past, but I started receiving a lot of spam immediately after registration. A bit hesitant about Kaspersky. What is the most secure antivirus for Windows 11?

After all, if you have no childs you don’t need advance parental control. And if you use gmail.com you don’t need integration with your pop3 mail client. And if you are happy with your current firewall, you don’t need an advanced firewall that you never will use.

You might find a free antivirus is all you need. If that ain’t a reasonable price.

Windows Defender works well for most and there is no additional cost.

I use what Windows came with (Defender) as I don’t run torrents or crack software.

It’s been over a decade since I used anything else.

That aside, and even then I haven’t used it on my PC in recent years there is MALWAREBYTES that tackles the odd things that other people install.

McAfee has taken on strong arm tactics to get folk to re-subscribe. Everyday people can’t uninstall it so they pay.
