Situation:
Our main office has the only servers within the company. All data will be kept here and only here. All servers are running W2K and all clients are running Windows XP Pro company
wide. Servers will include DC, Email, SQL.
Requirements:
We have 4 remote clients that will be running cable or adsl that need to be connected to the main office pretty much permanently.
We have 8 other clients that will only have dialup access to connect to the servers. These clients need to be ableto connect to the network, download data to work on it and then when they come back from being on the road, be able to upload the changed data onto the servers.
What I’m trying to work out is whether to use a VPN type setup or to use Terminal services. At this stage, I’ve had a number of situations reommended to me. Based on my needs, what would be the best?
