What source IP Address is used when I'm connected to Citrix

By stein_brian ·
I hope this makes sense to someone but I'm trying to figure out what IP Address a user is coming from when they are connected to our Citrix portal. I don't know much about Citrix so forgive my ignorance. We use a Citrix portal for users to access which really only serves up Adobe and a few MS Office apps and connects them to their home directories. What we have found is that if users open up Word from within the portal while internam and type in a web address to make it a hyperlink and then click on the hyperlink, it bypasses our Websense filter and they can get to any website. When I look in the Netscaler configuration I see 4 servers setup in the Citrix environment so I'm wondering if while connected to the portal, if the source IP address in this instance is from one of the servers and since our domain servers all bypass websense, if this is why?

How can I determine what the IP Address is being used when a user accesses the internet (thru a Word hyperlink) while connected to the Citrix portal? Thank you!
