what to do about this error???

The current user doesnt have permission to convert or enable this database.
i get this error when I try to open a database on the server after loading office xp. the database is in 97 access. the unit with 97 access can still access the DB but XP cant?? try to reload 97 Access got a no license on machine error? need help. Database is down.
