      What kind of virus is it? Has it encrypted your files and asked for a ransom? How far has it spread? Has it infected other computers on your network? It’s best to identify the type of virus first, before we can recommend removal options.

      How did you come to know that there’s a virus on your computer? Did you come across any of the following signs?
      Like- unexpected pop-up windows or unexpected ads in your browser, or did your system slowed down? Have you detected any suspicious hard drive activity? Or a lack of storage space? Or are any files missing? Or does your system crashes and shows error messages? Or was your email hijacked?
      If you have come across any of these signs then it’s best to identify the type of virus first, before we can recommend removal options therefore please clarify what type of virus it is? How much damage has it created? Is it ransomware? If there are other computers in your network then does it has infected other computers?

      Back up your files
      Download an on-demand malware scanner such as Malwarebytes
      Run the scan
      Restart your computer
      Confirm the results of your anti-malware scan by running a full scan with another malware detection program.
