By BFilmFan ·
A new award which I think should be granted to those technical questions which are deserving of the answer which they recieve.

My submission for the week is:

You win for the week.

That is one that I haven't seen in quite a while. Talk about brass balls..... You get the no-prize for the week as far as I am concerned.

In fact, I think that it deserves a standing ovation.

that was my reaction when I read the answer, before even seeing this discussion.

some questions do deserve to be answered like that.
most don't. ( most don't admit to doing wrong )

I like it!! I actually don't know that Genesis tune, but now I am going to have to listen to it... maybe I should download it illegally from the Internet?!

You can actually see the video for free on Yahoo's Launch Service. It's a really cheesy, but infectious tune..haha

Do you need a shot for that green discharge?

You still get my vote, rubber gloves and all.

I think I should clarify that I was being facetious regarding "downloading the song from the Internet". You may have got the pun, but I wanted to clear up any confusion for others that I indeed will NOT download any pirated content.

Hey he's got a point

He just needs to make a hat to fit it.

People think this is like a hack site or something. Perhaps TR got a new URL that links them to the '.box' network.

If this guy wants to be unlicenced and doesn't care, one would think he already would know how to aquire 5 licences without posting here. It's not brain surgery after all, I am sure anyone of you could throw him more than he would ever need to use.

The point is, the value of peers/members on this site has gone downhill big time. I don't know if it is increased exposure, increased losers or just a lack of required profile information that draws them in, but it's been getting pretty sad in the last 6 months or so.

The personal profile is so loose now, I know TR doesn't want to scare off new users by asking too much info, but they should be at least forced to fill out a profile and activate a contact link. Then perhaps people would be less inclined to seek the illegal.

This guy signed up and has done NOTHING but ask two questions, no help or answers for anyone else (not that this person is capable of helping someone), and for some reason you can't even read 'it's' profile, why isn't THAT mandatory?

It is part in how they are marketing now

by jdclyde In reply to Hey he's got a point

When you are trying for more and more exposure and are not real picky about how, you will get more and mroe like that.

Between that and tech wanabees just assume all tech sites are hacker troves. Isn't that all we do all day anyways? Everyone sitting on their pirated copy of XP, cringing because M$ is trying to stop us from updates to save us from ourselves.
