Whatever Happened to SybasePowerDesigner

by bigmat . Updated 21 years, 4 months ago

In early versions of Sybase ASE, Sybase bundled Powerdesigner with the ASE install CD, now it appears you have to buy it as a seperate product. if I want the extra functionality.

I want to reverse engineer a database I currently have to make up the Datamodel and display it in a diagram that I can attach to my office wall. Are there any cut down Modelling tools that can do this for free and work with Sybase ASE 12.0 databases. Needs to be a little more flexible than Power Designer 6.0, because the database is quite large over 206 tables. With 4 times as many Procs & triggers

Tried using a DTS package and exporting Sybase database to MS SQL, and then exporting to a UML trouble is not everything comes across. is there any easy ways
