What's a good throw-away-email service?

By AnsuGisalas ·
As I am leery of answering to TR peermails in any way (as they will give away my email address), I need a way of answering to queries without making a target out of myself. So far I could only think of using an email service that knows nothing about me, and to which I have no permanent attachment.
Probably some other users could find it useful.
Any ideas?

Especially if you want easy, disposable, different email addresses occasionally.

If you use Thunderbird or SeaMonkey as a mail client: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/594/ Virtual Identity seems pretty good. I haven't used it but once or twice, though.

Make and delete as many disposable email addresses as you want.

I use yahoo webmail, and have used hotmail in the past.

The account setup requires very little information (none that has to be true anyway) and it's always worked for me.

You could go entirely over the top

And use a service from another country (say http://www.webmail.co.za/ - It took me ages to find one, Ha!)

I dunno what that particular one is like, but you could also go for foreign language mail providers as well, giving you that extra level.
The only problem with that would be that you'd have to live on google translate (unless, of course you speak that language... then it defeats the purpose of going foreign...) until you can set up a rule to forward all TR replies to your personal mailbox.

I suppose

I could make you the loan of Igor. He would deliver your mail without a smile, which he is incapable of doing. Slow, though, the way he shuffles. But impressive.
