Where can I get Access 2000 runtimes?

By Matt H ·
I want to deploy some access 2000 front-end apps on machines that don't have Access but can't find where to download the runtimes. Microsoft's web sit seem to avoid the question, can't find them on the TechNet CDs, can't find them on the web. Can anyone suggest a source or URL?

Many thanks and a Happy New Year.

The runtime files come with the Office Developers edition.

Matt,

Try this one...

I would caution you on using it, though, especially if you have/use/have installed Access 97 (full or runtime). I could very possibly ruin that installation. You may consider writing your app in VB or some other portable coding language.

Good Luck.

Chris
