Where can I take Cisco Exams

By davethehedghog ·
Hello, I live in the UK and last year graduated with a degree in computer science. I have found that my degree has meant little in the real world, especially when applying for jobs, and have therefore decided to seek certification. Since networking is where my desired career lies, I have decided to study for a CCNA. I have however looked at literature and have found that much of the material is very close to that I have covered in my degree. Can anyone advise me as to where I can go to take theexam on its own. Although I do intend My employers will not help fund me through this, so the cheapest method possible is the one I am going to follow.

Test Centers

by timwalsh In reply to Where can I take Cisco Ex ...

Cisco has partnered with two testing organizations that have test centers world wide.

They are Prometric (www.prometric.com), and Pearson VUE (www.vue.com). Both organizations have numerous test centers throughout the UK. Go the the respective websites and checkout the "locate a test site" links.

Cisco sets the price for the exam itself, so you will not see any variation in price for the exam. If I remember correctly, the CCNA test goes for $125 US (or the foreign currency equivalent).

Hope this helps.
