got two win2k pro boxes networked through a linksys router. the main pc is where I do most of my work, and the second pc acts as a file server/soon-to-be-web server.
the main box was able to access anything on the second pc, but for the second pc to gain access to the main box user and password before were needed (the main box permissions were set so that nothing could be modified, only read or copied.)
I had to do a reinstall of win2k pro on the second box. I was able to get everythingwhere it was, except the user and password login to the main box. I don’t think anything changed on the main box, though I can’t be sure.
bottom line: how do I restore the user and password login to the main box from the second pc? it’s probably something so obvious that I’ve overlooked it a billion times, but I can’t seem to make it work.
