    by JustSomeGuy42 ·

I just want to know what all you think. Which do you like more?

Liking and preferring are different things.
And any answer is dependent on what you want to use your PC, server, laptop or Raspberry device for.

Personally, I like Apple BASIC better. Just hard as heck to find anything written for that programming language any longer.

They are to me. I use a lot of them and if they work I use them. Also, I don’t wave any particular flag.

But I will set fire to a Nazi flag.

I switched from Windows to Linux

My first PC was a 486DX2 bought in early 1995 running Windows for Workgroups v3.11. Cross-trained from consumer electronics into the computer repair field beginning in 1998. I became A+ certified in Feb 2000 with Windows 98. I’ve worked with every edition of Windows from 3.1 through Windows 11 in the past 25 years. When Microsoft decided to render both my laptop and desktop computers obsolete because they don’t meet system requirements for running Windows 11, I decided to transition both to Linux Mint, which I completed two months ago. I don’t intend to ever go back to Windows. Mint v22 does everything I need from a computer, so no reason to miss Windows.
