Try both. Then tell us which of the two you like most for blogging on the blog-platform you chose (but don’t make it an ad) and why.

Also consider a tablet. It has the same software (apps for Android or iOS), but a bigger screen and most often the option to connect a keyboard for typing easily typing text. A laptop comes with Windows or MacOS, and have other software. But maybe your main interface with the blog-platform is a browser and Chrome and Firefox run everywhere.

So, in fact, the only possible answer to your question is: “it depends on you”.

First, you need to understand your blogging requirements. This will help you make an informed decision about the best device for blogging.

It is not the same as what you will get from a phone than from a desktop computer, for example.

Your needs will evolve over time and as your blog grows, but in the beginning, you should consider these hardware and software requirements.

I was purchase Lenovo Think pad because I want a laptop for blogging as well as Minecraft Info Stats.

I think it depends on if the OP wants to travel with the computer or simply do so from home/office. That hasn’t been disclosed yet. A laptop is more versatile and most $1K units have large displays and full keyboards. We don’t know what the OP’s budget is.

To be honest, most of the photos will be taken with, and edited on, my phone or iPad. I just need a computer for drafting and general posting (fat fingers and faster typing).

But I’ll still look into it in case something changes

i think mobile is best for blogging
in mobile easy to move not battery issue also comfortable to shoot and upload also anywhere
also in mobile you can shoot anywhere anytime its carry easy while laptop carry is not easy and you wont shoot in laptop also
