which is better to buy alienware x14 or razer blade 14 (2022)?

My son fell for the thin and light laptop trap. He only got a couple years of use and even then it would heat up then throttle within minutes into a game.

If you want a good laptop gamer it won’t be thin or that light. Why? The cooling and such will add weight.
