    Which Linux Distro Is Best For VPS Hosting?

    We are trying to find the best option for clients for running Linux on a VPS for specific needs, We wanted a group to have an opnion and open discussion. At https://****.net we only provide the VPS and are trying to understand clients needs.

      Many distros are similar so I’d start at DistroWatch and test what you see in the top 10.

      My bet is that it might be dependent on the client.
      They have specific needs, as you write, and that might mean that some Linux’es are better for those then other.
      And they might prefer the same Linux as they used on their own devices before they switched to your VPS. Why should you offer them another one?
