Which SQL tables have access rights?

By kaypaul ·
I need to know which system tables in SQL 2000 contains the server role and database access rights are stored in.

How can I trace the creation of tables, views, etc by users in SQL 2000?

You can find out about the objects in your database from sysobjects table. Each database has a sysobjects table. You can write a query like select * from sysobjects where type 'U' to see all information about tables. Type 'V' will give you all views, tpe 'P' will give you all stored procedures, type 'TR' will give you all triggers.

If you want to see tables created by aparticular user then you can add where clause 'Where userid = ?'. You can find user informatrion from sysusers tables
