Why do i need to keep turning on my wireless button on my laptop?

My laptop is a HP G60 440US- Notebook PC and i never need to do this before till now but why is it that when i restart my computer or when i wake my computer up from sleep or hibernate why do i need to press the wirless button inorder to get connected the wireless. ive never had to worry about it till now and i want it to go back to the way it was before. ive tried to reinstall windows and no go. please help me get that wirless button to stay lit blue vs orange.

Blue= wirless button is on
Orange= wiressless button off

The power saving options have been changed to improve battery life and when the unit is restarted after going to sleep or so on it restarts with the WiFi turned off to save power.

The fix here is to enter the Power Saving Options and change this setting.

that was actually my fist guess but that didnt seem to change anything.

Might need to go into Control Panel,

then Networking, and check the properties for the wireless connection,
see if there is a check box to keep the connection alive when hibernating.
