Given its advanced features like built-in AI and extensive support for virtualization. It is a significant step up from its predecessors in many ways, yet it also faces considerable criticism. I’m interested in hearing both sides to understand this criticism better.

Granted, I am not a software/hardware designer but I am not seeing the same criticism you mentioned. In fact, I feel it is getting better as it evolves. Admittedly so, there have been some versions of Windows over the years that have been far from perfect but “you can’t win them all”. Do tell more. Granted, not all users will readily embrace a new version of some programs, you need to look at the big picture to see the reality. Don’t miss the forest despite the trees.

For some, Windows 11 may not be the greatest thing since sliced bread but Microsoft has had more than it’s share of “turkey” software over the years. Think about Windows ME……

**”Why Windows 11 Faces Backlash Despite Its Modern Upgrades”**

Windows 11 faces criticism despite its modern design and features due to strict hardware requirements that exclude many older PCs, reduced customization options (like a fixed taskbar and simplified Start Menu), and inconsistent UI elements. Users are also frustrated by forced updates, privacy concerns, and a perceived lack of compelling new features. Early performance issues and underdeveloped tools like the Widgets panel and Microsoft Store add to the dissatisfaction, leading many to view Windows 11 as prioritizing style over substance and control over user freedom.

While my thought is that AI is not AI but some ChatGPT etc and untrustworthy, my message is “stop putting AI into everything.”
