Why doesn't TR accept web site feedback?

By dlw6 ·
Last week (or was it the week before?) the TR Home title article was, "It's our birthday, tell us how you like our site!"

I followed the link to send some feedback to as requested, specifically about several features that don't work (at least not on the 2-3 systems I use).

The answer I got back was this:

"Thank you for visiting TechRepublic. At this time, we do not have anyone available for answering your questions in-house. However, you do have some options available to you at this time. You may either post your question in our Technical Q&A section, or post your question in our Discussion section..."

Is TechRepublic trying to outsource their web development? How much do they pay? :-)

We DO accept feedback - we welcome it!

Thanks for your reply.

What you received was our generic email receipt. I can assure you that each email we receive is read (by a human being!) and passed on to the appropriate department. Unfortunately email volume doesn't permit a personal reply in every instance, but we do read all of it.
