Why is my Macbook freezing?

Any suggestions?

I have a MacBook air and for some reason, it has started to glitch out or freeze. When it does freeze I can’t move the mouse so I have to shut it down by holding the power button. Does anyone know why my MacBook is glitching/ freezing for no reason?

It must have a reason, although probably nobody can tell what the reason is based on the information in your post.

But an Apple authorized service center should be able to fix it. Let’s hope it’s still in warranty, because it will be free then.

Resetting them could help, and the process is the same for both. First, shut down your Mac, then turn it on and immediately press Opt+Cmd+P+R. Hold these keys for 20 seconds; your Mac may restart during this time, but keep holding them for the 20-second duration.
