Why is my phone so slow?

when I open any app my phone takes ages to load it and I don’t have any other apps open. What is the problem?

Nobody can tell the why. But if it isn’t a hardware issue, it can be solved by going back to factory conditions. Your data is still safe in the cloud and your apps can be reinstalled easily.
Or buy another phone.

1. Factory reset and should work almost like new.
2. If the OS is slower than when new, updates do happen and after a few years you’ll either live with it or get a new phone.

It might help to know what make/model phone, what OS (Apple/Android) and what version of the OS is in use. How old is the phone? Is it an issue of running applications or an internet connection speed ? So much still unknown to offer any help.

The reason for the slowness could be many things for example it could be your phone getting old it could be a software issue or it could be a heating issue but what I’m trying to say is that it could be many things and its hard to tell without more information about the situation.

How old is this phone? This is likely due to low storage space or just old age.
