Why no IP Address?

By ronjewell ·
I have a wireless network in my home that now comprises a LinkSys WRV200 Router, two LinkSys Range Expanders, 4 computers with LinkSys USB wireless network adapters, and 1 computer with a LinkSys PCI wireless network adapter (everything Wireless G). All the USB-connected systems get on the network and get an IP address. The system with the PCI adapter reports a decent signal (usually 'good' strength and 24Mbs or higher), but this thing has a terrible time trying to get an IP address. How can I be on the network, with all the other systems getting IP addresses, and not get an IP address? I must be some kind of jerk!

checked in the router settings to see whether the router allows your machine to attach to the network. Also does it connect to the network but it says it doesnt have an IP address
