why windows vista displayng absolute path?

Hi,
i have a plugin which gives link/Bookmark destination information. it is working fine in Windows 2000/Windows XP, but in Vista it is showing same destination as absolute path, what i have to do to overcome this issue?

Get a Vista-compatible version of the plugin ...

Check back to whichever site you got it from.

Get hold of the plugin again...

Download the plugin again and before you open it, right click on it and select "properties > compatibility" next go to the "run this program in compatibility mode for" box and select which windows you want, then select "apply" then "ok". The next is then to run your program.
