I just knew....

by gadgetgirl In reply to why women are bad drivers

that you'd pick up on this one...

Incidentally, straw poll among the women in my building says she should have been fined more, had 3 months in jail, and her licence suspended for at least a year.

Breakfast news "reconstructed" this in a simulator yesterday, and the reporter drove off the "road" after only 10 seconds......

but you know what?
there are a lot of women that are that stupid, to drive and apply makeup.

If you are going to wear makeup, put it on before leaving the house, so you don't leave yourself open for women drivers comments.

funny thing, a lot of delivery drivers, for auto parts and couriers are women, and they are actually better drivers than the men.
[ not putting makeup on while driving is a big help ]

I will never

understand why women do this. First of all, it must take talent, because if I attempted to apply makeup while driving, I'd look..well, abstract at best.

And while we're at it, it seems that every moronic a$$hole in a car who does something stupid in my path is on a freaking cell phone. I truly want to shove the phones up their collective a$$es.

And once, as I drove down the expressway, I passed a man reading a book while driving. Incredible.

We've had a little poll at work.....

by gadgetgirl In reply to I will never

and between us, we have seen:

a woman putting on nail varnish whilst driving

a man bottle feeding a baby in a car seat (in the passenger seat) whilst driving

numerous people talking on mobile phones whilst driving

numerous people attempting to text on mobile phones whilst driving

unbelievably - a guy trying to reverse a lorry whilst talking on a mobile

and, finally, a lorry driver attempting to map read on the outside lane of the motorway, doing 80mph, with the map totally obscuring his vision out of the windscreen......

And yes, Mae, I'd like to do that with their mobiles phones, too!!

The ones that drive me crazy are the women who use the little vanity mirror on the shade to do their mascara while driving. They have to take their eyes off the raod and their hands off the wheel.

But I have seen men do similarly stupid things. I saw a guy driving a sports car, steering with his knees while using two hands to comb his long hair in the mirror. Needless to say I put some distance between his car and mine.

I've applied lipstick using the passenger side mirror as a PASSENGER..never as a driver. I wouldn't attempt mascara even as a passenger. Who in their right mind would point a sharp little stick at their EYE in a moving car?? One little bump or abrupt stop and you're in an eye patch for the rest of your life..

I can help with the shoving

I had to spend 7 months in bed with a broken leg because of the freaking cell phones.

The jeep driver backed in the middle of the road while talking on a fone and ran over my leg !!!

Apparantely I had to scream at the top of my lungs before he even realized that his jeep tyre was sitting on my leg.
